In 2016, the company celebrated its 70th anniversary and transformed its decades of experience into modern and independent customer consulting—keeping up with the times. The company was founded in 1946 by Günther Rettig. To this day, the company offers private customer services such as analyzing existing insurance policies, regular contract review, and bundling of policies. However, currently, it is mostly industrial and commercial clients as well as tax consulting firms whose risks rettig+partner versicherungsmakler assess, analyze, and insure nationwide. About 20 people are currently negotiating the best terms for their clients. The transformation from a traditional insurance office to a modern brokerage company with more than 50 insurance companies was also visually completed in 2016: The office on Schulte-Mönting-Straße 9 in Rheda was extensively renovated and expanded.
